Herete!I'm Kaethe Onasis, from Terncliff in Werlyt, and I'm thrilled to bring a taste of home to the Auri Festival in the Ruby Sea! And I will be there telling a story too.Alongside friends and family, I run The Approving Seal, a café and charity named after my wonderful pet seal, Enkrisi. Growing up Raen in Werlyt had its hardships and sorrows, but I'm here to celebrate our culture, not mourn it; we're working towards a bright future.Our Auri roots were once grounded in Corvos, and my passion for cooking means that you're in for a treat. Expect bold and comforting flavours from both Werlyt and Corvos; we will be sure to excite your tastebuds.What to find at our stall:- Homemade dishes blending Werlytian and Corvosi cuisine

Sain baina uu!We are the Approving Seal and with friends from the Ankhai tribe we are hosting a stall at Reunion!We come bearing goods from overseas as well as beyond the Tail Mountains. An unlikely collaboration between a formerly isolated tribe and a cafe & charity across the ocean.Some of the proceeds will go to supporting the Approving Seal charity.Please see the items below for what we'll be selling!

Cafe

The Approving Seal is the name of our cafe.
It is in the picturesque town of Terncliff and not far from the sea.
It is a cosy spot where anybody is welcome.
Profits go towards the Approving Seal charity, but we offer a variety of Werlyt (by our interpretation) and Thavnairan dishes and a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Lounge

Our lounge is an open space for people to perform and a comfortable social environment and a space for orphans to play and hang out too.
People from the cafe are welcome to bring their food and drinks up here.
Although OOCly it is in the basement, but ICly treat it as an upstairs (else some of the design would not make sense)

Who Are We?

A cozy café, lounge, and charity nestled in Terncliff, The Approving Seal is a partner venue to Wayfarers' Ger. Run by the same hosts, and there's an IC connection between the two.
Our Story: Once the beloved home of the Onasis family, it passed to Kaethe, their last surviving child. With the love of her adoptive family, friends, and volunteers, she transformed it into a place of warmth, healing, and community to be a beacon of hope for refugees, orphans, and those rebuilding their lives.
Why "The Approving Seal"? Meet Enkrisi, Kaethe’s lazy pet seal! His name means "Approval" and yes, we do love a good pun.
